Visual defects
Myopia
Myopia is a visual disorder characterized by blurred distance vision and sharp near vision. The myopic eye is too long and the image is formed in front of the retina.
Genetics is one of the main causes of this visual disorder, but other factors also contribute to its development, such as a lack of outdoor activity or time spent on screens.
